Data Deletion
How to delete your account, content, and connected platform data
Delete your account and data
You can request deletion of your Verber account and personal data at any time. There are two ways:
- In the app (recommended): Sign in and use the account deletion option in your account settings. This starts the deletion process immediately.
- By email: Send a request from your account email address to dev@verber.me with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will verify you are the account owner before processing.
When you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal data — including your profile, username, booking history, shop content, and stored preferences — within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain records (for example tax and payment records, which are retained for the period required by financial law and then deleted).
Social platform connections (Verber Studio)
If you connected a social account (for example X) to Verber Studio:
- Disconnecting the account in Studio settings deletes the stored OAuth tokens we hold for that connection and stops all publishing on your behalf.
- Deleting your Verber account also deletes all stored social connection tokens and associated account identifiers.
- You can additionally revoke Verber's access from the platform itself (for example, X → Settings → Security → Connected apps). Content already published on the platform is not deleted by revoking access — delete it on the platform if you want it removed.
Platform-initiated deletion requests (Meta)
If you connected a Meta account (Facebook or Instagram) and want the data Verber holds from that connection deleted, you can also trigger deletion directly from your Meta settings (Apps and Websites), or submit the request form below. Meta forwards a deletion callback to us, and we delete the associated connection data (tokens and account identifiers) and confirm the deletion status back to the platform.
Status: Meta integration is pending platform review. This callback flow will be active when the Meta connection launches publicly; do not rely on it until then. X connections can be managed as described above today.
What we may retain
After deletion we retain only: (a) transaction and tax records required by financial law; (b) records of anti-fraud or abuse enforcement needed to protect the service; and (c) backup copies that expire in the ordinary course (within 30 days).
